Mall Goth’s Heather’s Exit is a fever dream of jangly riffs, summer haze, and coming-of-age clarity.

Out today, the Albany-based band’s second EP delivers four tracks that shimmer, shake, and ache in all the right ways. Your Garden kicks things off with a sparkling bang, a sun-drenched, kinetic anthem that demands movement. Crawlspace leans nostalgic, a heart-on-sleeve track that feels like watching your youth blur past the car window. Marionette brings the grit, swirling from mellow dream pop to full-blown house show energy. The title track, Heather’s Exit, closes it out with a heavy, Wolf Alice-coded wall of sound that’s hypnotic and charged.

Produced by Conor Grocki at Tummy Rub Records and mastered by Scoops Dardaris, Heather’s Exit showcases Mall Goth’s ability to blend 90s-inspired jangle rock and dream pop into something distinctly their own. For fans of Alvvays, Sonic Youth, and the emotional disorientation of growing up, this one’s for you!
